Our commitment to health, safety and security
We are continuously monitoring and following the changes in recommendations and guidelines of the local governments and the local health authorities in the countries we operate in, to continue working towards providing the best service possible while safeguarding the safety of our guests and associates, within the requirements issued by such local authorities.
Our Commitment to Cleanliness:
We take standards for hygiene and cleanliness very seriously and are taking additional steps to ensure the safety of our guests. On a daily basis, we ensure that they meet the latest guidance on hygiene and cleaning. Our health and safety measures are designed to address a broad spectrum of viruses, including COVID-19, and include everything from handwashing hygiene and cleaning product specifications to guest room and common area cleaning procedures. Specific steps the Capitol Hill Mansion Bed and Breakfast Inn is taking include:
Associate Health, Safety and Knowledge: CHM employees – and their own health, safety and knowledge – are essential to an effective cleaning program. Here are some ways we are supporting them:
Cleaning Products and Protocols: Our housekeepers use cleaning products and protocols which are effective against viruses, including:
Radiator Steam Heat:
As ventilation is being promoted as a key strategy to cut infection, you can open your windows at the Capitol Hill Mansion Bed and Breakfast Inn. As Fall and Winter arrive, the Inn is heated with Radiant (Radiator Steam Heat) that helps fight Pandemic. However, by itself, increasing ventilation is not enough to protect people from exposure to the virus that causes COVID-19. When used along with other best practices (such as social distancing, frequent hand washing, and surface disinfection) recommended by the CDC, increasing ventilation can be part of a plan to protect yourself and your family.
Located in the heart of the Museum district, downtown Denver
Nestled in the quaint Capitol Hill Neighborhood of downtown Denver, this romantic Bed and Breakfast is a Colorado and National Historic Landmark and is just a short walk from everything in the Mile-High City, including attractions, gourmet restaurants, theaters, museums and shopping.
Built in 1891, the gorgeous ruby sandstone mansion is located on Denver’s famous “Millionaires Row,” just a block from the mansion immortalized in folklore -- the home of “Unsinkable Molly Brown.” This was Denver’s original upscale neighborhood. The homes here feature a variety of classical architectural styles, each with its own flamboyant and whimsical touches such as turrets, spires, and porches.
Eight elegantly appointed rooms and suites offer turn-of-the-century opulence with modern day flair.
On December 4, 2001, I purchased the Capitol Hill Mansion Bed and Breakfast Inn. I felt that the Denver area offered me an exciting opportunity to provide superior guest service in a unique and special historical 1891 mansion located on the corner of N. Pennsylvania Street and 12th Avenue.
